Camping:
Camping is not available at Squaw Valley, however, several campgrounds are located within 2 miles of the start/finish on Hwy. 89 between Truckee and Squaw Valley
alongside the Truckee River (toilets and water, but no hot shower facilities). The closest campground with showers is in Truckee at Donner Memorial State Park - (530) 582-7894 - see
link below.
It is highly advisable to check availability with each campground as seasonal closures vary.
